Every release. What changed. Where to find it.
Answer interrogatories from the case files you choose.
FEATUREAnswer interrogatories from the case files you choose. Pick the source documents for the whole set up front or one interrogatory at a time. Every answer includes its source, so you can verify the reference before using it.
Define the body of research first, then start drafting.
Scope: Interrogatories and Supplemental Interrogatories. A Pleading is required before answers can be generated, though whether it is automatically used as a source follows your client's position. Plaintiff defaults to yes, Defendant to no, and either can be changed. Briefpoint drafts and you decide: treat these answers the way you would an intern's.
A new substantive response editor, Snippets, and Placeholders.
BUNDLEWe've introduced Snippets, which allow you to save what your firm reuses, then insert it from the toolbar or by typing /. This replaces the ability to choose multiple response options. In the substantive response editor, each response now sits in its own container with the preamble, if applicable, separated, so a long response is easier to read and edit.
All discovery vehicles now use a rebuilt substantive response editor.
Save what your firm reuses and insert it without leaving the editor. This replaces the ability to choose multiple response options.
Placeholders got a visual refresh, with a clearer view of what gets replaced.
Formatting controls, image support, new venues, and a wide bug sweep.
BUNDLESharper document controls, broader file support, three new venues, and roughly forty fixes across the Document Wizard, editor, and narrow-screen layouts.
Four new controls for document output.

Your firm’s discovery strategy, applied the same way on every case.
FEATUREYour firm's discovery strategy stays consistent across cases. Save strong objections and responses as you work, and see them surface when matching requests appear again.
Every response can build the playbook.
When an attorney hits a matching request, the firm’s prior answer appears in the response workflow.
Discovery Playbook has its own place in the global nav.
Firm controls and Briefpoint Pro: Firm Admins can enable or disable Discovery Playbook for the whole firm. Entries stay in their own section of the Firm Library. Every Briefpoint plan includes 100 playbook slots; Briefpoint Pro adds unlimited slots for $99/month for the whole firm. To upgrade, talk to your Firm Admin, or reach out to support@briefpoint.com.
Multiple offices per firm, arbitration terminology, and family law content.
BUNDLEA heavy month of shipping: multi-office firms, arbitration handling, and new library content.
Support multiple offices per firm, with document generation resolving office-first.
Party-term accuracy, matter numbers, and highlighting that survives export.
BUNDLEGenerated text now respects every party configuration, cases track more firm-specific data, and highlighting survives into Word.
Plurals, possessives, and subject-verb agreement now resolve to the actual party count.
Client-file routing, review reliability, and large-matter processing.
BUNDLEFocused fixes across client file handling, review quality, and document processing, so there are fewer surprises in review, fewer stalled uploads, and fewer interruptions on big matters.
Clearer controls after a client uploads files, covering withholding, production, and sending work back, so teams spend less time re-explaining the workflow.
Fewer wrong-text, missing-tab, and stale-view issues during review, so what you generate is what you send to production.
Behind the scenes: stronger large-PDF handling, a refreshed AutoDoc model line, and fewer noisy errors.
Bulk objections, one-click party terms, and folder-level select-all.
RELEASEThree time-savers in one release: bulk objections, one-toggle family-law terms, and full-folder selection in AutoDoc.
Generate objections across the full set at once, or keep item-by-item control in the same step.
A case-level toggle switches terminology to Petitioner/Respondent across the entire case.
Select or deselect complete folder trees in Found Documents in one action.
Clients upload files straight into your RFP workflow via Client Bridge.
FEATURECollect client files inside the Briefpoint workflow. Client Bridge gives your client a guided upload flow, and each file arrives tied to the right request items, organized, traceable, and ready for response work.
Formats: PDF plus 125+ file types that Briefpoint converts to PDF automatically, with originals preserved for download. Unsupported formats such as audio and video can still be uploaded; download them from Case Production, convert, and re-upload.
Update discovery responses without disturbing prior work.
FEATUREManage the full life of a discovery response. Generate a supplement from the original document, keep prior answers visible, and bring in new client input through Bridge, giving you one organized thread from first response to final supplement.
Note: supplements start from the originating document, not another supplement. Each round shows the full history for the relevant items. For RFPs, client documents flow through Client Doc Collection.
