Define the body of research first, then start drafting.

• Choose Answer all for me, then pick your files from a searchable case tree, use the Use Pleading toggle, or drag in files from your desktop.
• Select Specific Files attaches documents to one interrogatory from your case files or a fresh upload.
• Search All Case Files searches the full matter and can run across every unanswered interrogatory in one pass.

Answers you can verify and refine

• Every answer shows its source, so you can click through to the exact page.
• Runs are additive: add more files to an interrogatory and new answers are added on top.
• Answers read like answers, with more reliable names and dates.

Use it in three steps

1. Upload a set of interrogatories from opposing counsel and go to Step 4. Choose how you want to object and answer.
2. Select files that contain answers, then choose Find Answers for All. Drafting starts automatically.
3. Open an answer, verify its source, then add it to your response, edit it, or add a document and rerun it.

A rebuilt editor for substantive responses

All discovery vehicles now use a rebuilt substantive response editor.

• Rearrange a long response by dragging and dropping paragraphs, including Found Answers.
• A floating toolbar keeps formatting within reach, so you can stay on the response instead of the editor.
• Fuller formatting tools throughout, with undo and redo.

Snippets

Save what your firm reuses and insert it without leaving the editor. This replaces the ability to choose multiple response options.

• Create and manage Snippets in the Library, for yourself or for your firm.
• Insert from the toolbar, or type / to pull one in where your cursor currently is.
• Combine several Snippets in a single response when the answer needs more than one piece of language.

Placeholders

Placeholders got a visual refresh, with a clearer view of what gets replaced.

• Adding a Placeholder into a Snippet ensures it resolves to the right party, court, or term wherever that Snippet gets used.
• Tooltips on the Placeholder and Snippet icons show what each one does before you click.

Briefpoint Support now has more capabilities to handle document formatting requests

Four new controls for document output.

• Set line spacing for requests and responses independently.
• Control defined terms in responses and render them lowercase in requests.
• Reorder documents through customizations.

More files. More venues.

• HEIC and HEIF images upload and process as-is in the app and Bridge, so iPhone photos go straight in.
• Download now exists as soon as a client has added files via Bridge.
• New Venues:Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, Bexar County (Texas), or Harris County Probate Court No. 4.

Reliability, tightened

• Document generation falls back to a secondary AI resource when the primary is at capacity.
• Centered text and multi-selected alignment carry from Document Wizard through Review, and removing a highlight will Save immediately.
• The Cases table and wizard steps hold their layout on narrow screens.

Capture - save the strategy as you respond

Every response can build the playbook.

• Save request/response pairs as you work, with a live slot count for the firm.
• Review Playbook Responses on the Review step navigating through Saved, Recommended, and Everything else.
• Anyone responding can contribute, not just admins.

Surface - bring firm language into the draft

When an attorney hits a matching request, the firm’s prior answer appears in the response workflow.

• Search reads the request in front of you and ranks prior firm answers, with same-document matches first.
• Multi-select filters let you keep several jurisdictions or case types in play, plus search by case name.
• When nothing is close enough, Briefpoint tells you directly. You can always search your firm's entire Playbook for matching responses.

Manage the playbook in one place

Discovery Playbook has its own place in the global nav.

• Manage every saved entry in one spot: search, filter, add, edit inline, or copy for a variation.
• Surface For targets the client, jurisdiction, and case type where an entry should appear.
• Each entry keeps its source details (document, section, interrogatory number, and case) with the current content.

Multiple offices per firm

Support multiple offices per firm, with document generation resolving office-first.

• Assign users to an office; invites, moves, and signup route correctly.
• Documents use the right caption, signature block, and address for the office that owns the matter.
• Office lists sort alphabetically, with the main office pinned at the top.

Arbitration, plus new content

• Arbitration venues swap party terms throughout: Plaintiff becomes Claimant and Defendant becomes Respondent in the app and Word output.
• California arbitration templates are updated, and arbitration templates take precedence over firm custom templates.
• Family law content is in the propounding library, and Texas Probate Courts, County Courts at Law, and Midland County are selectable.

Account and platform

• Upgrade to Pro from the Firm page and manage the subscription from the new management page.
• Product updates now appear inside Briefpoint, where you already work.
• Safari loads and logs out cleanly, and Word documents download with the correct extension.

Party terms stay accurate

Plurals, possessives, and subject-verb agreement now resolve to the actual party count.

• “Plaintiff’s” and “Plaintiffs’” land correctly, and has/have follows the party count.
• The app and document generator use the same replacement set, so the draft matches the export.

Track more on every case

• Matter Number lives on the case, so your internal tracking stays with it.
• Jurisdiction is now a column on the cases list.
• Case Type is available in step 1 of Source Document Review, and request/response pairs filter to the relevant case type.

Highlighting and library

• Highlight text in the library and/or inline to draw attention to specific content.
• Highlight formatting survives into Word without disturbing surrounding text.

Client file & task flow

Clearer controls after a client uploads files, covering withholding, production, and sending work back, so teams spend less time re-explaining the workflow.

• Withhold client uploads when there are no responsive files, keeping them out of the client response sidebar.
• Handle client uploads more reliably through production, including Word output and manually added files.
• Cleaner send-to-client and client-task flows: clearer actions, fewer confusing states, and mobile Bridge fixes.

Review & response quality

Fewer wrong-text, missing-tab, and stale-view issues during review, so what you generate is what you send to production.

Behind the scenes: stronger large-PDF handling, a refreshed AutoDoc model line, and fewer noisy errors.

Object to All

Generate objections across the full set at once, or keep item-by-item control in the same step.

• Choose per-item or bulk mode in SDR step 3 with Confirm and Object to All.
• Bulk mode tailors Ambiguous objections per item and applies your selected variants to the rest.

Family law support

A case-level toggle switches terminology to Petitioner/Respondent across the entire case.

• Applies across the case UI, output documents, definitions, and objections in both response and propounding flows.
• Scoped to the current case and document, with no impact on other matters.

AutoDoc select all

Select or deselect complete folder trees in Found Documents in one action.

• List view opens first; hover a folder row for Select All / Deselect All.
• Selection cascades through nested subfolders at every level.

What's new

• Clients upload through Client Bridge instead of email or shared drives, with no account or setup required.
• Files are automatically tied to the relevant RFP items and case production as soon as they arrive.
• Review, select, and include responsive client files with full traceability into what was provided and when, cited by Bates number or exhibit collection in the final output.

Use it in three steps

1. From an RFP item, use Client Tasks to create one or more document-request tasks.
2. Send the tasks with Briefpoint's email template. Your client opens Client Bridge, uploads documents or explains why they do not have them, and submits.
3. Review each response by RFP item, select the responsive documents, and include them.

What's new

• Create supplements directly in Briefpoint for RFPs, RFAs, and Interrogatories. Start from the originating document and update only the items that changed.
• Prior objections, responses, and documents stay intact and referenceable, never overwritten.
• Each supplemental round stays under the original document on Document List, keeping the case history in order.

Use it in three steps

1. On Document List, open the originating RFP, RFA, or Interrogatory and choose Supplement.
2. Select the items to supplement, where prior supplements are flagged, then generate a document containing only those items.
3. Draft with prior responses visible, optionally send to your client via Bridge, then open in Word to finalize and serve.
